Raining Kats and Dogs day is April 21, 2023
USD 401 utilizes the the annual Raining Kats and Dogs Event on a sunny April day nearest to Earth Day to give back to the community. Students from Preschool age through seniors in high school spend the morning clearing trash, cleaning up the community, and preparing for spring. Staff put together locations for students to give back to the areas the work and play. You can tell by the smiles that service learning is a rewarding experience for our students! A special shoutout and and thank you to the staff to develop this event and work to create safe, engaging opportunities for students to serve the community!
