The USD 401 Chase/Raymond Board of Education is pleased to announce the appointment of Kylee McDonald as Superintendent of Schools beginning in the 2021-2022 school year. Mrs. McDonald will begin her duties on July 1, 2021.
Last month, the BOE accepted the resignation of Mr. Jim Johnson effective at the end of the current school year. President Duane Wood said that the Board is pleased with the selection of Mrs. McDonald as Superintendent.
“The future Dr. McDonald will be an excellent Superintendent for USD 401. She has a strong background in curriculum and instruction, special education, and has the vision and energy to lead this district in the positive direction we all want to see for our kids.”
Mrs. McDonald is in the process of completing her Doctorate in Education with Baker University. The search for a new Chase MS/HS Principal will begin immediately.
