In 1989, Mary Herold began working at Chase Grade School as a dishwasher. Mary worked hard and perfected bread making. Her organizational skills and dedication to the job helped to earn her a promotion to head cook in the early 2000's. Mary's presence in the lunchroom is a long time staple of our district and while we will miss her smile, and fresh baked treats, we know she will enjoy her retirement and extra time with her grandchildren.
From all the students and staff at Chase Raymond Public schools we want to express our gratitude for all Mary has done. We are grateful for the years of service she has given to the students and families at USD 401. On Friday December 17, 2021, Mary finished her last food meal as a full time employee.
