All students, Kindergarten through 12th grade will have a short awards ceremony on Thursday, February 1 at 3:00 in the high school gym for honor roll and attendance accomplishments. It is open to the public.
3rd - 5th and 6th - 8th spelling bee winners. Students will compete in the Rice County Spelling Bee on Saturday, February 24th at 9:00 at Little River High School.

This Saturday is the start of the JH CPL Basketball Tournament in Ness City.
The bus will leave Chase at 8:00 am
The first round of games will be played at the Ness City Elementary gym.
JH Boys will play @ 10:15 am
JH Girls will play @ 12:45 pm
The 3rd -5th grade spelling bee will be Friday, January 19th at 8:30 in the high school gym. The 6th - 8th spelling bee will follow at about 9:30.
NO SCHOOL JAN 16, 2024- Due to the extreme cold and wind chills expected to be below -25 degrees U.S.D. 401 Chase Raymond can not safely have students attend school or transport them. We really miss our students and are hopeful this extreme cold is over soon.
The MWC basketball tournament starts today at St. John. Girls will tip off against St. John at 3:30. Boys will tip off at 5:00 against Central Plains.

U.S.D. 401 is unable to safely transport students to school today due to extremely cold temperatures, our busses have begun to gel. We will work to reschedule our events with Ness City. We apologize for the late notice and inconvenience.
U.S.D. 401 Chase Raymond will be running a 2 hour delay on Friday January 12, 2024 due to wind chills and road conditions. Classes will start at 10 a.m. Drive and arrive safe!
