JERSEY AUCTION!
We have found a way to keep the tradition alive this year!
You can bid to get the honor of wearing one of the jersey’s of our Fighting Football Kats for all day at school and/or at the Homecoming Football Game against Central Plains.
The Chase-Raymond Student Council will be conducting a virtual Auction on Thursday, September 24 at 6:00 PM. Just log into our Google Meet at this site: https://meet.google.com/hfz-ipgq-pda
We will be live taking your bids. There will be two chances to pick up the jerseys and pay for your winning bid:
● At school Friday morning at the main entrance from 7:40-8:00 AM
● Near the concessions stand on Friday night from 6:00 PM

The RJH Volleyball game on September 21, 2020 is being rescheduled, further information will be released when the date and time are known.
Homecoming is next week, homecoming is also the perfect time for Spirit Week to celebrate the students at USD 401. Below are the spirit week days for CHS/RJH.

Spirit Dress Days:
Students are encouraged but not required to participate
Class prizes will be awarded for participation.
Staff members are encouraged to participate as well, and may also win prizes ☺
All participants must dress appropriate for school while dressing up
Particularly important on Monday (pajamas)
Teachers have the right to ask students to remove distracting costume pieces (ex. hats, sunglasses, wigs) while students are in their classrooms - otherwise, you may wear your hats for spirit week

Tuesday 9/22 – America Day - Dress to represent the USA, Red White and Blue, ‘Merica!
Wednesday 9/23 – Country and Camo Day - Redneck, Country, Hillbilly, Farmer, Rural America, etc.
Thursday 9/24 – Greasers vs. Socs Day - It’s The Outsiders and you’re either a Greaser or a Preppie
Friday 9/25 – Proud to Be a Kat/Bulldog = Blackout dress day – show your School Pride! Stick around for the Homecoming Football Game and cheer on your Kats!

Chase High School Football will host Victoria on September 11, 2020. We will be honoring our Senior Football Players prior to the game. We look forward to seeing you for Friday Night Lights at 7 p.m.
CHS Volleyball Parents and Fans- Today only 1 spectator is allowed per volleyball players at St.John Beloit, Mr. Short the bus driver will have the tickets.
This week YOU have the opportunity to watch The Lady Kats play volleyball at home on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. The Raymond Junior High Girls Volleyball Team will be playing at home on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at 4 p.m. Please wear your mask, practice social distancing, and come cheer them toward a victory.
USD #401 COVID-19 Athletic/Activity Fan Attendance Guidelines
All Fall Sports
USD #401 administration will work with the Rice County Health Department to determine a safe number of spectators for each USD #401 venue.
In order to protect our students and district families, USD #401 may be more restrictive than a county health department regarding group/mass gatherings.
In the interest of the health and safety of USD #401 students, staff, and game officials, a decision may be made to not allow spectators at an event based on the following information:
The current number of active cases in USD #401 counties/communities
The guidance of the local County Health Departments
Masks/Face Coverings: In order to mitigate the risks of COVID-19 at USD #401 events, all spectators shall be required to wear a mask or cloth face-covering at all times while in the following situations/venues:
Inside all USD #401 attendance centers
Chase Raymond Junior Senior High School & Elementary
Football field bleachers
Football field concession stand area (in the posted area)
Football field restroom area (in the posted area)
Temperature Checks: All fans entering USD #401 facilities or venues will be subject to temperature checks.
• Admission Gate: It is strongly recommended that all local persons attending USD #401 athletic events have maintain 6 feet of social distance from non-family members
Lady Kats Volleyball split in the opening triangular at Natoma, with a WIN over Natoma in two and a loss to Thunder Ridge in two. Good start to the 2020 season.
CHS volleyball kicks off the season Friday at Natoma! If you see a lady Kat wish them good luck!

Just a reminder that sports physicals must be submitted before student athletes can begin practice on Aug. 17.
