Got to stop at Coronado Heights afterwards, which none of the team had been to besides Santiago. Was a fun day of lifting, proud of all the kids!
First track meet was a success! Had lots of kids compete for the first time. Humberto Rincon placed 5th in HJ and Malik Carson placed 1st in LJ and 2nd in the 100m.
Now that everyone has a meet under their belt, we will post all PRs and placers after every meet! Great job Kats!

RJH 8th grader Kenya Campuzano go 1st place in the shotput and discus at the first track meet of the season yesterday! She also got 4th place in javelin.
Other top 6 placers included Aiden Hunter - 4th in TJ, Elvis Martinez - 5th in the 200m, and Manuel Torres - 6th in Javelin.

CHS Seniors Riley Bowen and Leland Rice, & Juniors Cain Rush and Alyssa Beavers were honored at CPL Honors Banquet in Ness City last night for their academic achievements. A big thank you to Ness City HS for hosting and to Trooper Ben Gardner for being the guest speaker!
